Terms
and Conditions of Sale:
Warranties:
All
custom Tetrabyte computer systems are built with new components and come
with a 2-year On-site* warranty. Touch
brand computer systems come with a 3-year On-site* warranty. Other computer
systems, printers, monitors, laptops, and other peripherals and products
are covered by their manufacturers warranty which will vary from product
to product. Tetrabyte does not warrant any software of products under
these terms and conditions. Warranties, if any, for software are contained
in the applicable license agreement which accompanies the products. Computer
failures or software corruption that occur without any evidence of a hardware
failure or problem can not be claimed under any computer system warranty
because it is a software failure.
Return Policies:
All in-stock products and systems purchased directly from Tetrabyte may
be returned within 15 days of invoice date for a refund of the Product
purchase price, if already paid. The refund does not include any shipping
or handling charges. All items returned must be in "as new"
condition and packaged in original, unaltered packaging complete with
all of the documentation, diskettes, CDs, power cables and any other items
included with the product. All canceled orders (already processed) or
returned custom ordered systems or special order items are subject to
a 15% restocking fee.
Pricing:
All pricing advertised by Tetrabyte Computer
Services Inc. does not include taxes unless noted. Taxes charged on items
are G.S.T. @ 7.0% and P.S.T. @ 7.5% if shipped to customers residing in
British Columbia. All Invoices greater than $500.00 must be paid in cash,
certified cheque, bank draft, Canada Post money order or PayPal. VISA
(signature req'd) is only accepted for Invoices under $500.00. Invoices
paid by VISA that are greater than $500 are subject to a 3% processing
fee. Computer system or special item orders must be prepaid before we
can order. Discount refunds will not be awarded after the sale has been
processed.
Shipping:
Shipping charges will be added to the total
invoice price and will vary depending on shipping distance. All shipping
is limited to Canada. All products shipped will be insured for the total
invoice value. Currently all shipping is made by Purolator or UPS Courier.
Please confirm your preferred shipper when ordering.
Payment
Terms:
Orders, Quotes, Interest, Credit terms are within Tetrabyte's sole
discretion, and unless otherwise specified in Tetrabyte's invoice, payment
must be received by Tetrabyte prior to acceptance of an order. If credit
terms have been agreed to by Tetrabyte, invoices are due and payable within
thirty (30) days after the date of the invoice. Customer agrees to pay
interest on all amounts past due at a rate of 3% per month.
Limitation
of Liability:
Tetrabyte Computer
Services Inc.
does not accept liability beyond warranty statement or service offering
including, without limitation, any liability for products not being available
for use or for lost or corrupted data or software under any conditions.
Tetrabyte Computer
Services Inc.
will not be liable for lost profits, loss of business or other loss or
damage relating in any way to products or services, whether direct or
consequential, special, indirect or punitive, even if advised of the possibility
of such losses or damages, or for any claim by any third party. The foregoing
limitations apply regardless of the causes or circumstances giving rise
to such loss, damage or liability, even if such loss, or damage or liability
is based on negligence or other torts or breach of contract including,
without limitation, fundamental breach or break of a fundamental term.
Service
and Support:
Service and support offerings may vary from Product to Product.
Tetrabyte Computer Services Inc.
has no obligation to provide service or support for any period until
Tetrabyte Computer Services Inc.
has received full payment for such period for the Product or service/support
contract for which service or support is requested.
Tetrabyte Computer Services Inc.
shall be under no obligation to supply support or repair services which
are required because of improper or inadequate installation, use or maintenance;
actions or modifications by unauthorized third parties or Customer; or
accidental or willful damage or misuse.
Applicable
Law; Not for Resale:
Customer agrees to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of
Canada and its provinces. Customer agrees and represents that it is buying
for its own internal use only, and not for resale.
Entire
Agreement:
Customer agrees that these terms and conditions and any document incorporated
by reference of referred to herein constitute the entire agreement between
Customer and
Tetrabyte Computer Services Inc.
pertaining to the subject matter of these terms and conditions.

On-site service area extends 50km from Prince George city centre. On-site
warranties are available for all major urban centres across Canada for
Touch &
Seanix systems. Please express your interest for On-site warranty when
requesting your quote.
