Systems Support Technician:
$40,000 - 65,000 / year (Hourly or Salary)

As the Systems Support Technician, your primary focus is to provide top quality Information Services support, planning, and technical expertise for our small business customers. You will respond to support requests to identify, research, and resolve technical problems on systems, networks and printers to ensure a timely resolution.

As the successful candidate, you will assist the IT Services Manager with any assigned project tasks and you will be a valuable resource for the leadership of various projects that our company undertakes for our clients. Additionally, you will keep current on the latest technologies, and certifications.

Responsibilities:
- 1st level troubleshooting of server and desktop operating systems, hardware, networks, and application software
- Implementation and administration of Microsoft Windows NT/2000/2003/XP (soon to be Vista) desktop and server environments
- Designing systems and server based solutions for small business
- Testing and evaluating hardware solutions, peripherals and software applications for suitability to business requirements
- Expertise with Microsoft Office and BackOffice products

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience working in a computer and network support position
- Minimum 3 years experience working in systems support
- Strong hardware knowledge and repair skills
- Minimum required certifications: A+, Server+ or Network +, and MCSE
- Strong networking and security experience and knowledge configuring routers, firewall's, and VPN services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- A valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Field Service Technician:
$28,000 - 50,000 / year (Hourly)

As the Field Service Technician, your primary focus is to provide troubleshooting and service activities on various types of computer hardware and printers. You will respond to support requests, identify, resolve and repair systems and printers to ensure timely resolution.

As the successful candidate, you will assist the Service Manager by responding to service requests within limited time window to perform repair activities in an efficient and skillful manner. Additionally, you will keep current on the latest computer hardware technologies, and printer repair certifications.

Responsibilities:
- 3rd party troubleshooting and and repair services for PCs and printers
- Troubleshooting, repairing and installing Windows XP and Vista operating systems and effectively cleaning viruses and spyware
- Assisting the Systems Support Technicians with integration and support tasks

Requirements:
- A College Diploma or Certificate in a recognized computer technical program
- Minimum A+ certification and 3 years hardware repair or systems troubleshooting experience
- Excellent hardware troubleshooting and repair skills
- A strong knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems
- Excellent working knowledge of Laser printers
(HP and Lexmark)
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting TCP/IP networks and routers
